First things first

How many weddings a year do you photograph?

I only take 35 weddings a year. I do this so I can give my couples the best experience and photos possible and not spread myself too thin.

What is your style of photography?

Hmmm...Im not really into labels so let me give you a couple adjectives instead... relaxed, engaging, romantic, storytelling. I don’t want to take your picture by boring pagodas or on overused ol' stair cases. I believe in capturing those fleeting moments of emotion, expression and yes - love. But I also don't like to take things too seriously...obviously.

How long have you been a wedding photographer?

I’ve been a full time professional wedding photographer since 2013. Don't worry, I've been holding a camera since the day I could walk...etc! Take a look at my reviews to see all of the ego massaging stars from my past clients.

what to expect

How many photos can we expect from our wedding day?

Numbers of photographs vary depending on all kinds of factors: how many people, how many photographers, the format of your wedding, even the weather. I would say 600ish is a number to expect. I don't withhold any images. These are your memories, I promise to capture them fully and give you more than enough images to remember this momentous occasion.

Do you give RAW unedited images?

Nope. It's like asking the bakery to deliver you a cake - but not baked, just all of the ingredients mixed together in the pan. It still needs time to bake and a little bit of icing on top.

Can you photoshop us?

I believe in promoting self love and body positivity, so I don’t alter the way you look other than skin blemishes or anything temporary that would not normally be there (bruise, scrape, acne, etc. and only on you and your partner). However, if you would like a giant flying squirrel or some lightsabers, I can make that happen. I also like to do in camera tricks like double exposures and prism work (no...not prison work).

What happens if you can't make it?

Heaven forbids this happens, as it would only happen if it were out of my control (act of god, illness or death). If this twer to happen, the plan is to summon my amazing team of photographers and make shit happen so that your day goes off with out a hitch.

How long does it take to receive our photographs?

Between 6 and 8 weeks depending on whether you get married in peak wedding season or during "The Holidays". It’s important not to rush when editing and putting your collection together. We are going for capital Q-uality here.

Who owns the copyright of the photographs?

Although I have original copyright (you know 'cause I took the photos), you will have license to print as many as you’d like and to share across social media. You will have an awesome wedding gallery that gives you easy access to share, download and print all of your images.

the fine print

How do we secure our date with you?

Just drop me an email with y'alls info: names, date, venue, estimated timeline and any details you'd like to share. Once we come up with a plan I'll have a contract with all of those details and a deposit form for you to nail down that date.

Do we meet you before the wedding?

Yes. Absolutely! I always try to arrange a pre wedding consultation in person or via video call (or even just a phone call if that's all I can get) with anyone looking to book me for their big day. All couples that book with me will also have a check-in prior to the wedding to go over everything we want to accomplish on the day, a family portraits list and the timeline.

What about bad weather?

As much as I wish I just can't seem to make the weather do what I want, ever! But its probably for the best because some of my most wonderful images have come from bad weather days. Not saying good weather is bad but I am saying that it is best to just roll with it. Now if it becomes a health hazard or the possible destruction of my equipment then we will either find a new angle from a covered location or we can re schedule (depending on date availability and such). But don't let a few clouds get you down.

Do you charge sales tax?

Yes, it is required by law that I charge 8.25% sales tax and hand it over to our most wonderful state of Texas.

Hit me up!

Let me know y'alls info: names, date, venue, estimated timeline and any details you'd like to share. We can start from there.
